In this video (Part 2 of my Venture X Series) I share three more tips on how families can get even more value out of their Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.

1. Use the cellphone protection for your family. The Venture X offers up to $800 in annual coverage for cellphone damage or theft. This is a great way to protect your family's expensive smartphones, especially if you have young children.

2. Take advantage of free lounge access. The Venture X gives you and two authorized users access to Capital One Lounges and Priority Pass Select lounges around the world. This can save you a lot of money on food and drinks, and it can also make your travel experience more comfortable.

3. Add authorized users to help unlock benefits for your immediate and extended families. You can add up to four authorized users to your Venture X account. Each authorized user will get their own card and will be eligible for most of the same benefits as the primary cardholder, including travel insurance. This is a great way to help your family members save money on travel, even if they don't have their own Venture X card.

Other benefits that could help families that own the Venture X include:
Trip cancellation and interruption insurance:
Up to $2,000 per person in coverage if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due to a covered event. (IF you charge the entire cost of the trip using your account)
Trip delay reimbursement: Up to $500 per person in coverage if your trip is delayed by six or more hours. (Delayed more than 6+ hours)
Lost luggage reimbursement: Up to $3,000 per person in coverage if your luggage is lost, stolen, or damaged.
Travel and emergency assistance: Access to a 24/7 emergency assistance hotline that can help you with a variety of problems, such as lost passports, medical emergencies, and legal assistance.
Travel accident insurance: Up to $1,000 in coverage if you are injured or killed in a travelrelated accident.

TMobile Discount Using a Credit Card Tip:
1) Setup autopay with your debit card for your family’s monthly bill
2) Every month a week before your auto monthly payment, make sure to pay a one time payment with your credit card payment
3) This will pay your monthly cellphone bill with your credit card in full while getting your credit card

These tips are intended for families that have or plan to get the Capital One Venture X so they can travel more with this card.
