Get Instant Relief From Low Back Pain By Decompressing Your Spine And Discs | Dr. Matthew Posa | Milton Chiropractor

In this video, Dr. Matthew Posa, a chiropractor in Milton, Ontario will discuss 3 easy and simple ways you can decompress your spinal discs and spine for instant low back pain relief. These techniques are general and not for any specific condition.

Low Back Pain can be caused from many different issues and conditions. Many of the successful methods used in treating the spine are based and grounded in generating movement which allows for the restoration of proper spinal mechanics, alignment and motion. When you restore motion, you allow for water to rehydrate the spinal discs.

1. Standing Spinal Discs Decompression
Hold for 10 seconds, making sure to breathe deeply as you relax your low back muscles. Slowly reload the discs and spine by bringing your body weight back onto your feet. Repeat 10 times

2. CatCamel/Cow stretch: start on your hands and knees with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees directly under your hips. Inhale and arch your back, lifting your head and tailbone towards the ceiling. Exhale and round your spine, tucking your chin to your chest and drawing your tailbone towards your knees (cat pose). Repeat for 78 times.

3. Knee to chest Stretch: Bring one knee at a time to your chest. Then bring both knees to your chest and slowly rock your spine from side to side, holding this position for 10 seconds or as desired.
