Getting a Gurantor for your passport is not as straight forward as it used to be.
Regulations have made it less restrictive in having to secure a professional or notary public member, but the person you have validate you has to provide a whole lot more information about themselves.
1. Know the person for at least 2 years
2. Be at least 18 years of age or older
3. Have a valid passport
4. Be a citizen
5. Be available to verify the applicant
6. Sign the back of the passport photo
When finding a guarantor make sure they have their passport is up to date and in good standing, to reduce the chance of your application being declined or at the very least delayed.
