Unfortunately, the cancer returned. After trying 14 different cancer treatments, Ariella enrolled in an immunotherapy clinical trial for the drug nivolumab (Opdivo). On May 17, 2016, Opdivo was FDAapproved for the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma. www.cancerresearch.org/patients.
