Speese Pottery and Souvenirs

For many years, Charles S. Speese (18651922) was the owner of a pottery and tileworks factory, first located on Seminary Ridge and later along the York Pike near Rock Creek. Along with the production of commercial tile and building material, Speese dabbled in the tourist trade producing crockery, vases, miniature monuments, and souvenirs.
