Join me as I fly from Boeing Field (BFI) in Seattle to Whidbey Airpark (W10) to give a surprise flight lesson to a lucky new student. His partner set this up weeks earlier, under the premise of a wine tasting expedition. Apparently he hates wine but loves helicopters, so way to play with the guy's emotions!

The video begins just north of Seattle, near Lake Union. I proceed over Green Lake, Shoreline, Edmonds, and Everette, then make a flyby of Paine Field where Boeing builds the 777X and 787 airliners.

It was my very first time at Whidbey Airpark, but I'd definitely make my way out there again. Enjoy the ride!
