This damage is often caused by increased pressure within the eye, which can occur when the fluid inside the eye doesn't drain properly. Glaucoma can lead to vision loss and even blindness if it is not diagnosed and treated early. There are different types of glaucoma, including openangle glaucoma, angleclosure glaucoma, and normaltension glaucoma.
