In 2024, the old MY locomotives could celebrate their 70th anniversary. And at their 50th and 60th anniversaries in In 2004 and 2014, Denmark's Railway Museum organized a GM meeting with lots of GM locomotives even from abroad. But this year, unfortunately, the museum did not have the resources to hold the event themselves, as they instead focused on their children's event with Koblingernes dag and at the same time had to plan a major move of their material to their new magazine hall in Marslev.

Therefore, MY 1101 and 1135 were sent on a longer journey together with MY 1126 to Wittenberge in Germany, where the German railway club NOHAB GMGruppe has organized a MY meeting on the occasion of the 70th anniversary.
