Nachniche Satv is the first thing which comes to your mind when you crave for something sweet, yet healthy. Goan Satv is made using 3 main ingredients ragi, coconut and jaggery. Nachniche satv is made into a thick consistency and refrigerated to set like a pudding. Satva is also made into a light liquid form by adding more water and skipping coconut/cashews/cardamom and is fed to 6 month old babies.

Satv is also eaten like a thick porridge by the elderly people by cooking it into medium(not very thick) consistency and skipping cashews.

Ragi is rich in calcium, protein, amino acids and is gluten free. And hence can be consumed by 6 month old babies as well as old aged people. Ragi is also the most sought after source of calcium for lactose intolerant people as well as those who donot like drinking milk.
