Nine characters have been given leading roles in an upcoming play at the local community theater, roles of beasts and monsters that eerily resemble each of their greatest flaws and deepest fears. As weeks of rehearsals pass and the opening night draws nearer and nearer, they will struggle to come to terms with their individual shortcomings and weaknesses, lest the darkness threaten to take them over completely . . .
