Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Moya Eurorack Cover

All Weather Haulage

Ever since my first band broke up and I learnt about postrock I have been a huge fan of the genre. I think that the development of sounds in postrock is what led me to start learning analog synths during COVID which then led to me exploring eurorack shortly after. Canadian postrock bands are fantastic! Here is one of the best in my Eurorack covers of great songs by great bands.

Zoia (that I'm still figuring out) is playing one of the guitars.
Disting 2 is in Poly FM Mode and is taking on 3 different parts.
Moog Mavis is doing the main monophonic bass
The Microfreak is taking on some ambient strings.
There is lots happening on the drums:
Bass drum is a mix of Mutable Instruments Peaks & Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas.
Snare Drum is plaits
Hats are the QuBit Cascade (my first time trying this)
Cymbals as always is the broken glass sounds of the WMD Fracture.

Lots of modulation and effects, I should mention that the Squarp Hermod is sequencing everything. MI Beads, Ears, Veils, Intellijel Quad VCA, Make Noise Maths, QuBit Data Bender, Erica Synth Pico DSP and maybe a few more are in the signal chain somewhere also.

Original song by Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
