Returning to score another Godzilla film, Hattori gave the title monster a new theme for the new era of Godzilla movies. This new theme exudes power and majesty, but is also rather empathetic and soft spoken compared to the character's other themes across the years. It successfully portrays the might and awe of the character while also painting him in a heroic, almost sympathetic light with the softer instrumental variations. One of my personal favorite Godzilla themes that isn't made by Ifukube.
