Godzilla vs Kong fans we've got a Godzilla vs Kong Giant Mechagodzilla Unboxing. This video is intended for an older audience and contains language and animated violence.

Here’s 11" GIANT Mechagodzilla, the BIGGEST Mechagodzilla 2021 figure on the planet!

Godzilla vs Kong Giant Mechagodzilla stands 11" tall. Man, he’s BADASS! Here he’s next to Skullcrawler.

Meshing elements from the Transformers, Terminator T800, & previous designs, Mechagodzilla’s new design has grown on me. His shape & design resemble Godzilla but his angularlook makes him look manmade. He reminds me of a walking mechanical tank.
Giant Mechagodzilla 2021 figure captures the look nicely. Check out metal plating details on his head, dorsal plates, & tail.
While design looks modern, can definitely see influence from oldschool MechaGodzilla designs.
The little Xs down his arms & legs remind me of Showaera Godzilla.
He’s got a bit of Kiryu's neck ribs.
Love the classic elements of the design, but what I love most is that he’s unique. Everything looks mechanical. His teeth are welded to the outside of his jaw instead of the inside. The dorsal plates look angular & are shaped like an ax. Although his dorsal fins aren’t movieaccurate, the silver paintwork on Mechagodzilla’s fins looks FANTASTIC.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the level of detail on this figure at this price point.
Wish it had more of a metallic color scheme like the movie rather than gray plastic.
There’s a hint of gun metal paint in his mouth.
Although Giant Mechagodzilla has exposed screws on his left side, it doesn’t look as bad as Giant Kong or Giant Godzilla. Thanks to its color & shallow hole depth, it somewhat blends in better.
Love how his dorsal fins extend all the way through to his tail. The outer fins are more flexible than the solid inner ones.
My biggest gripe chest area paint lacks intricate detailing from movie. Wish he had more red paint on his chest.

Let’s talk articulation.
What?! No articulation in his head. There’s no jaw movement! His arms have limited motion.
There’s no outward motion, as in the 6" version. I can’t believe his elbows still have no movement. I love MechaGodzilla’s spinning claws – this figure easily has the best articulation in the claws – with full 360degree rotation & up/down movement.
Plus, his claws can open/close.

You can do almost anything you can imagine with his claws. That’s the best part about this figure. His legs move forward/backward but not outward like the 6" figure. Although it looks like there’s knee movement, there’s none whatsoever. His feet swivel but their motion is limited.
Rotate his tail 360 at the midpoint & a full 360 at the tail’s base. The tail drill has some flex. Unfortunately, it doesn’t spin like the movie. Man, I would’ve loved driving a spinning tail drill into Kong. His tail is molded with a permanent leftward curvature. It’s somewhat posable.
His tail restricts how high he can stand. He can stand quite well without his tail. Wish there was articulation in his head, jaw, elbows, & knees.

Comparison time! Here’s 6" Godzilla vs Kong MechaGodzilla. Other than the major size difference Giant Mechagodzilla is far more detailed than 6" Godzilla vs Kong toys Mechagodzilla 2021.
Look at their facial details & eyes the head sculpt is more detailed with more welldefined red eyes. He’s got detailed missile pods. Look at body details.
Everything’s more pronounced in this largerscale model. The attention to detail is dialed to 10.
The sculpt & details on Godzilla vs Kong Mechagodzilla giant figure are 100x better than 6" Mechagodzilla’s. Absolutely love it!
Love that there’s more detailed silver paintwork in his dorsal fins instead of being all red, as in the smaller figure. While not completely movieaccurate, the red & silver scheme is more visuallystriking.
His tail is rigid, whereas 6" Mechagodzilla’s tail is more flexible.
Check out that superdetailed tail drill. Looks LETHAL!
In terms of SHEER DETAILS & LOOKS, Godzilla vs Kong toys Giant Mechagodzilla wins HANDSDOWN!
The smaller figure features a Battle Damage Reveal, whereas this larger figure doesn’t.
The articulation is superior on the 6" figure. 6" Mechagodzilla has articulation in his knees, jaw, & outward movement in his legs/arms.
However, Giant Mechagodzilla has articulated spinning claws.
What?! There’s no accessories like a Proton Scream/HEAV.
That’s a bit of a letdown.
While his articulation leaves a lot to be desired, thanks to his largescale/impressive details, I don’t hesitate in recommending this figure for your collection, if you’re a fan of the new Mechagodzilla design.
By far, Giant Mechagodzilla is the BEST in the Giant series, albeit not perfect. Collectors will love the AWESOME attention to detail.
And now my Mecha. It’s not only Godzilla's equal but his superior. The Apex Titan of my own hand. It's time to show the world what you can do.
