Taken 123022. It's Dec 30th 2022 and its time to unload after our long trip going after the truck. Jacob wanted to drive it off the truck so who am I to argue with that and it came off pretty easy. Then the check it out part started looking things over and the biggest problem I found was a brake light was out and the check engine light was on but everything else seamed to be fine. The truck is pretty clean but it has tar on the kick panels both passenger and drivers side witch is pretty commend for a truck used in the asphalt industry. I had already bought tune up parts and started putting them on the truck as it really needs it. As you saw in the video Craig and his brother Kurt showed up to drop that big dead pin oak tree by the road so I blocked the road with the truck. A guy rolled up and he decided to watch them drop the tree and it came down hard to say the least ! When it came down it rattled stuff in mom and dads house and they had no idea what was going on ! The tree measured 53" by 57" so it was a big one to say the least ! The tree that was beside it was hollow inside and wasnt long for this world so it was good I had the all taken down before some one got hurt by a falling limb or tree. I know I am going to have a lot of work to do to get this all cleaned up but it will be worth it. I went back to working on the truck and changed the dist cap and rotor button and put in a new air filter and put a buld in the tail light that was out. I have plugs and wires oil filters and oil to change the engine oil and transmission oil and I'll check the rear end oil while I'm at it and grease the front end when I change the oil. Got a lot done that day and there is a lot more to do on the truck and taking out more trees back by the woods so I'm going to have a lot of work to do when we get done with all the tree removal to get the ground straitened out and all the sticks picked up.
