I recently went on a trip to a train store in Ontario Canada called Lark Spur Line. I wanted to have a look through a recently acquired collection of brass and diecast locomotives.

Looking through the boxes did not disappoint as there were many fully decorated engines, must even featuring DCC and sound.

I also had a look through the shops consignment section for cheaper locos being sold at a discount. I ended up finding a vintage Canadian National switcher and two customized FA1 units which appear to have an early form of DCC.
