GoodTimes Entertainment was founded as an American home video company in 1984 by the three brothers (Kenneth, Joseph and Stanley Cayre) that founded Salsoul Records. The company was well known due to its distribution of media from third parties and classics. They had a family division called Kids Klassics, also founded in 1984. GoodTimes was bankrupt in 2005 and their assets were bought by Gaiam. The company did not shut down until 2007.
