R.I.P. "T.C." Actor Roger Earl Mosley, best known for his role in the hit show "Magnum P.I.," has died at age 83, according to his family. Mosley played helicopter pilot Theodore "T.C." Calvin in the show, which aired on CBS from 1980 to 1988. He portrayed a former Marine who ran a helicopter and tour service in Hawaii, often flying Tom Selleck's private investigator around the islands to help him solve cases.
April 15th, 2016 I took an incredible flight out of Honolulu International Airport in Oahu, Hawaii in this 1982 Hughes 500 (369D) N357MH. Note: 50 Min. Tour, I cut some footage out. This Hughes 500 is just like the N556MH Hughes 500 used in the New & Old Magnum PI Television Series.
We flew around the Island of Oahu starting out with Waikiki, Diamond Head, North Shore, Waterfalls, Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial and so many other beautiful & memorable sights. More info listed below.
A huge thanks goes out to Makani Kai Helicopters for the great flight and to my wife Gail for shooting all the ground video.

Doors Off Approximately a 50 minute flight
Feel the wind in your face! Experience an incredible Doors Off adventure in our MD500, the iconic helicopter from Magnum PI television series. This 50minute tour will show you all the most scenic places on Oahu and you’ll have the advantage of being in the perfect platform for photography. Everyone has a superb view. Highly recommended.
Advisory:
Please be advised that the Doors Off adventure is not for everyone. This is a thrill ride combined with a scenic tour. Your hair will be in disarray, you may get wet from the rain, and it is very windy. Just as not everyone loves roller coasters, some people are uncomfortable without having a door between themselves and the wild blue yonder. If you are faint of heart, please choose another tour.
