Walking tour in Graça, with detailed historical information and context. Graça is one of Lisbon's most charming districts, as well as offering spectacular views over the city! Because Graça is located on the highest hill of Lisbon, Portugal, this is where the best viewpoints are, or "miradouros" as they are called in Portuguese. The two most popular viewpoints are the Miradouro da Graça and the Miradouro da Senhora da Monte.

Graça dates back to the foundation of a Convent, a 13th century construction under the name of Santo Agostinho. In 1305, this convent became Convento da Nossa Senhora da Graça, after which the neighborhood was then named.
