Gracie sat on 5 eggs for 24 days. We candled them on the last day and saw that none of them were viable. We then went to the store and bought 2 chicks that were a couple days old. In the middle of the night, on June 11, we took out 2 of the bad eggs and put the 2 chicks underneath her when she was sleeping. The next morning she woke up and was very happy to see the new babies! I removed the other 3 bad eggs. She has been a very good mother and taking excellent care of them ever since.
