This is our review of the week April 815, 2023.

The resort is almost 2 hours bus ride from the airport. If you need to use the washroom before you go onto the bus then do so. Pack your snacks 'cause there's not much at the airport to buy, so be prepare ahead especially if you have kids.

The resort is big, nice and clean. The room is nice and modern, only thing we don't like about our room is it's kind of an open shower in the washroom and there's no door to it, only door to the toilet (not sure if all the rooms are the same layout). We don't have any problem with the toilet paper like some people mentioned, but it's true that they only leave 1 roll at a time for you and it's run out fast so do bring a roll of toilet paper with you just in case lol.

The service is very good, everybody is very friendly, helpful and working very hard for you to have a good time there. Download a translating app if you have to, as some of them doesn't speak English so be kind.

WiFi works well throughout the resort, except at the beach. They will give you 20 hours at first, if you use it up then just come back to the reception desk and ask for more hours. A little inconvenient is that you have to sign in often if the phone is inactive for like every 510mins.

The food was good overall, not a big selections but you can always find something good to eat. Surprisingly for Cuban food, it was very good at the grill section in the buffet fish, chicken, squid, small crab, fried rice, pasta, omelette, eggs, pancake (do ask to put in all the spices that they have there).... just have to be patience for the line up. Cold cut sandwich, sweet potato chip, yogurt, hot chocolate, icecream, fruits... are also very good. Bring ketchup and hot sauce/pepper with you. Roasted pig and fresh coconut at the snack bar close to the beach (just check with the staffs to see which day). Try to book for your restaurants early, as it get full fast, we didn't get to book any. Pack some snacks from home and make yourself sandwiches from the buffet for your plane and bus ride (bring some ziplock bags or small containers to pack your food).

At the bars, not many selection of mixed drinks, sometimes they have the drinks you like (pina colada, margarita, coke...) sometimes they don't, and also depends on which bar you're at. Just ask them what they have or what they can make for you. Spanish coffee is good, or anything with rum.

There are so many pools at the resort for everyone, all ages. If you love the pools, this resort is for you. All of them are clean and beautiful.

The beach is right along the resort, it's long, nice but a bit windy. There're plenty of lounge chairs, just ask the guy there who will bring the chairs out to the spot you like. The Sanctuary side of the beach is very nice with soft sand, everywhere else high recommend you to bring water shoes.

There's something in the theatre every night. There's a basketball court, tennis court, gym and an entertainment room (For convenient bring your own tennis racks or ping pong paddles if you have one, and also bring some small board games or a deck of cards along too).

Bring US $1 or $5 Canadian bills for tips as they can't/hard to exchange coins.

Overall we had a good relaxing week.

Have a wonderful vacation!
