Grandmaster Aiping Cheng founded Aiping Tai Chi in 1996. She moved to Austin in 2017 and passed the school down to Shifu Shirley Chock. Her last visit to Connecticut was in 2019. In October 2023 we welcomed Master Aiping back to Connecticut with a party and demonstrations by our students. William Ng travelled all the way from University of Maryland for the day to be able to see and demonstrate for his master.
