This presentation shows how to take a quadratic function in standard form and graph the function. First, a, b, and c are determined from standard form. Secondly, use a and b to determine the equation for the axis of symmetry. Then, use the x value for the axis of symmetry to find the vertex of the parabola. Finally, starting at the vertex, additional points can be added to a table of values so a parabola can be graphed.
