In this video artist Andy Beck takes a walk in the Borrowdale area of the english lake district. Beginning in the quiet village of Stonethwaite the route goes along the valley and up to the summit of Knotts and Great Crag and includes a visit to the delightful Dock Tarn. The route is 5 miles/8.1km with 1358'/ 414m of ascent. Great Crag is one of the Wainwright 214 fells which he featured in the Pictorial Guides whereas Knotts was one of the fells which he considered for inclusion but it didnt make the final edit.
I must apologise that in parts of the film the sound isn't up to standard, this was due to the recording method which I was using on this trip.
