The Beaver River is located south of, and flows into Georgian Bay Ontario. It is a popular canoeing/kayaking destination but still seems very remote and natural. You will see a lot of wildlife along the river. From Kimberley to Heathcote the river is calm with a slight current (23 km/h) in some sections. I started at access point #2 and headed upstream to Kimberley and then paddled back. If you only want to paddle downstream then check out the end of this video for shuttle information.
