My golf buddy Dan and I attended the Monday golf day at Green Valley Country Club. It is a very nice golf course situated in Fairfield California within a few mile from the 680/80 intersection.

The fairways are in great shape with mature trees on both sides. They are not as narrow as we thought and as long as we place the ball in play, the front nine is manageable. The challenge begins on the back nine where most of the fairways and greens are elevated either up or down hills. The greens are fast and at times we had to 3putt and settled for bogies.

The weather was quite wonderful that day considering an early March. We managed to complete the game without any downpours, just a few drizzles on the final two holes.
