This is the first bunch of piccys. The racing pics are in at the various stages of the build. I'll do another Vid when the next photo collection gets bigger.

It all started with a 26HP Briggs and Stratton Intek VTwin 34" Greenfield Mower. It still has a basically stock engine with a belt drive to a right angle 1:1 gearbox. It is then chain driven to a 40mm go kart axle. Once the chassis is kind of performing the way I want, i'll get stuck into the engine.

I've been a Small Engine Mechanic for over 30 years, we now run our own workshop. I've always wanted to get into lawnmower racing but there wasn't much of it happening down here in Tasmania.

The local drag strip   / tasdragway   put out the call for a Lawnmower Racing Event and so it began. We've had a few meetings so far and the mower has changed and evolved at every meeting as I've built stuff and found weakness's. It'll probably keep evolving as we go lol.

I've based my build around what the mower racing community is doing up in Queensland. At the core of it all, I do it because its good fun :D Especially testing at home in the paddocks lol
