Only 7 minutes of this was ever aired. How they got it down to such a short time when there was so much material to choose from, I will never know.
This, in realtime, is the Gotcha where Mr Whiteley is done up like a kipper.
EVERYBODY was in on it, apart from Richard and the studio audience. That said, everyone IN the audience twigged that it was a windup long before Whiters! As the warmup guy, I had one heck of a job keeping them schtum! I also had to keep quiet myself during tape stops... Normally I'd go in and chat to the audience whenever there was a pause However, as everything was being recorded, I couldn't do my usual thing But you CAN hear me piping up from time to time after the reveal at the end.
So enjoy this, my friends It's already on You Tube in chunks But here is 56 minutes of telly bliss, uninterrupted, with a wee bit more tagged on the end.
