The West Side Stories project at the Baranov Museum in Kodiak, Alaska, aimed to document and capture the people, places and stories of Kodiak Island's west side.
These are those stories, stretching from Kupreanof Straight to Karluk, weaving in and out of Viekoda, Uganik, and Uyak Bays, stopping at fish camps, lodges, and canneries along the way. It’s history. It’s hyperbole. It’s Kodiak’s West Side Stories.
