DIALYSIS: Demo of the BBRAUN Hemodialysis Machine Filter Change
One of the machine alarms/warnings that cause the most groans at the dialysis clinic is the "filter will soon expire" or "filter is expired."
A lot of us are not familiar with changing these BBRAUN hemodialysis filters, but trust me, changing the BBRAUN hemodialysis filter is easy!
Since the dialysis machine gives us a warning when it's on it's last tretments before the filter expires, we usually change the filter at the end of the day before disinfecting the machines.
