FEATURED BRAND: GYEON
Gyeon, as a company, has shown me an incredible amount of support over the years. They are a preferred brand of my friends at Carzilla so it came as no surprise when they tossed me a 1litre bottle of Gyeon Eco Wash when we were discussing the recent water crisis our city is facing. Last week, a main artery in our city's underground water system ruptured leading to "Level 4" water restrictions. I normally wash my car every week or so using the 2bucket system, but I had to improvise this weekend. I used the water captured by my dehumidifier and the rinseless wash method. I am not a huge fan of this method and I don't understand why so many people prefer this process over a traditional bucket wash, but I had little choice under the circumstances.

As a rinseless agent, I was happy with the performance of Gyeon Eco Wash. I topped the wash off with a satisfying application of Gyeon's Ceramic Detailer just to introduce a bit of extra gloss and slickness. I used some rinseless solution in my Pressol bottle to prespray the surface and then gently wiped the presoaked microfiber towels across the panels to capture the dirt. I then used a 16x16 drying towel. The wheels and honeycomb grill did exhaust my patience somewhat, but in the end, the car is clean enough. I look forward to giving it a proper wash once our city crew restores unfettered water access.
