Ha Ling Peak is a peak at the northwestern end of Mount Lawrence Grassi and is around 90minute drive from Calgary to the trail.

Ha Ling Trail to Ha Ling Peak is a 7.2 kilometer hike located near Kananaskis Improvement, Alberta, Canada that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible yearround. The trail begins at a parking lot and makes its way through beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountain forest.

This was previously named Chinaman's Peak in honor from a Chinese Cook, Ha Ling.

You'll know that you're near the peak once you've passed the 3 wooden stairs. Since the weather and climate vary tremendously from the trailhead to the peak, it is recommended to wear plenty of layers since the top is very cold even in summer.

This took us 4.5 hours to do the entire hike and it was a really nice adventure. We might go back this summer just to see the difference of this hike.
