Welcome to our firsttime reaction to the movie Hacksaw Ridge. The story of the incredible Desmond Doss is not only an amazing true story it is also a fantastic film. This film got us emotional as it showed us the amount of courage Desmond Doss showed and just how much he sacrificed in order to save lives.

Directed by Mel Gibson, Hacksaw Ridge tells the story of Desmond Doss, a World War II medic who went into the battlefield without bearing arms. They did such an amazing job at showing us just how terrible the events in Okinawa were.

The performances were absolutely incredible. Especially Andrew Garfield as Desmond Doss and Hugo Weaving as Tom Doss. They both gave powerful performances filled with emotion.
