I decided to make this because I feel every firefighter should have a tool when going inside a structure. The problem has been once entry is made, FFs either leave the tool at the door, carry it in one hand, or shove it in their waist strap. This tool holder allows for quick deployment/holstering, two free hands and keeps the tool from swinging around.

All you need is:

Carabiner
2' of paracord
3' of webbing

Mount the carabiner to the halligan with opening away from halligan, on the opposite side of the Pike( keeps the pike end away from body). Tie a loop with the webbing to the side of your SCBA waist belt. Then slide halligan fork through loop and clip carabiner to pack.
