At night the haunted houses come to life

And vampires so happy there’s no daylight

Now we get ready to join all the fun
We picked and carved our pumpkins and now that that’s all done
We decorate our porch and we’re not the only ones
Then we get dressed to impress, now it’s time to run

Like superheroes, princesses and unicorns too
So excited to fill our bags with candy corn we can’t wait to chew
And other candies of course that our parents approve

So we knock on neighbors doors saying treat or treat
Please tell me you have something yummy for me to eat
And with a nod and a smile neighbors start to fill our bags
Until they’re overflowing, so much fun we’ve had

And that, friends makes for a super Halloween night
The wind howls past headstones in the graveyard so quiet
And the scarecrow looks around and says bye bye
