I caught up with Ervin Myers at the Big Jolt Electric Event held in Chino California on June 2122 2024, and got to see him flying his great looking Hangar 9 F6F Hellcat on 6s electric power! This one is a really nice sized (64 inch wingspan) standoff scale model, and is built the old fashioned way from balsa, light ply, and covering. I think the plane sounds GREAT on those flybys! This model is equipped with electric retracts, but since it's sort of old school, you'll probably notice that it doesn't have flaps, like so many other older models.
