Hank Mobley might be one of my favourite jazz saxophone players like ever. As a composer, as well as a performer, Hank Mobley was just incredible. Despite being in and around some of the most important stages of jazz Bebop, The Jazz Messengers, Hard Bop, Miles Davis, Soul Jazz and more Mobley often doesn't get his due.

I'm Tim Beau Bennett, and I'm making videos about jazz history. Sometimes I talk about jazz musicians, sometimes the songs, and sometimes about genres.
