Mr. Kailash Purohit is qualified Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has done Bachelor of Laws from K C Law College and Bcom from Mumbai University.



Mr. Purohit is Head Group Corporate Secretarial at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited, Parent Company since November’2017. Prior to joining Motilal Oswal, he was associated with well known organisations such as L&T Finance Holdings, Capital First Limited (now IDFC First Bank), Tilaknagar Industries Limited & Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels). Mr. Purohit has overall 14 years of experiences in the field Secretarial & Compliance. Since start of the career, Mr. Purohit has been associated with Equity Listed entities alongwith other Regulatory License. His forte is into Listing Compliance, SEBI Regulations such as ICDR Regulations, Takeover Code, Insider Trading norms, NCD regulations, Buyback, etc. He has also monitored & implemented various complex group restructuring by way of scheme of amalgamations, merger, demerger, slump sale. He has managed various corporate actions like Buybacks, Dividends, Bonus Issue, Right issue, Preferential issue, etc. He also has extensive experience in managing RBI Compliances applicable to NBFC & HFC entities and FEMA Norms applicable to offshore entities. He has also been instrumental in presenting best ESG report as part of Annual Report.
