Take your taste buds to the tropics with a familyfriendly recipe for the slow cooker Hawaiian Pulled Pork.

1 (34 lbs) pork roast of pork butt
1/2 C soy sauce
1 1/2 C chicken broth
1 C pineapple juice
1/2 C ketchup
1/4 C brown sugar
2 Tbsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp fresh ginger
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 68 hours or high for 45 hours. Shred pork and take half of the sauce and put in a saucepan to simmer and add 1 Tbsp cornstarch with 3 Tbsp water to make a slurry to thicken. Use thickened sauce for the shredded pork. Serve on a bun with coleslaw or a pineapple ring and provolone cheese. Delicious hot or cold. Enjoy!
