Upon researching a better wireless unit to replace my NRF24L01, I came across this handy HC 12, which is capable of reaching 851 feet in optimal conditions. In less than optimal conditions it gives out a satisfactory range of 500+ feet!

In this video I show how I hooked everything up as well as give a range test proving its usefulness in connecting distant units. I plan to use this in future projects as its programming is straight forward and easy to use.
