The landing was a historic grace to the city of Miami, bonding enthusiasts and community members with new faith for the city as an international gateway and global business conduit. As my folk and I have prepared for dinner at Seasons 52 in Miracle Mile, we felt it was only appropriate and timely to get LH 463's special, late departure. The plane laid over for 6 hours to condition the layover process for an A388 including: ensuring that the jetways work, the plane's services work, among other kinks that may be needed. I managed to watch the press conference on MIA's website I recommend it.

The takeoff was a great experience, and was nothing short of beautiful. I have made new YouTube friends on the fly, as well, to add to the experience. First, the MDFD MIA section did a wonderful water cannon salute for the departure. Then, a nice swift takeoff. The behemoth A380800 was skillfully piloted by a very cordial captain who even went the way to put on a show! The big bird did an impressive maneuver to say "good bye" to everyone by swaying the A380 left and right. Such weight and such stress is to be reckoned with. I want to thank the City of Miami, Lufthansa, and the airfans I met/seen for making this awesome unforgettable experience possible.
