→ Join me as we try to beat this severe storm approaching San Antonio in true Southwest style — turnin' n' burnin', baby! If we didn't beat this storm, we would have been delayed overnight and my entire trip would have been thrown off... Anyway, welcome aboard this Southwest Airlines Boeing 737800 with service to Orlando! Sadly, due to the fact that reflections exist, the taxi part of this video is super reflectionized — making it really hard to see what's going on outside. We blast off SAT's runway 4 and make a long, hard right turn to avoid the majority of the storm, but we're not out of danger yet. There is still a smaller cell to the south that we just can't avoid. As seen in the thumbnail picture, the yellow light is from the wing tip light, while the white light is from constant lightning (per the captain). It's a pretty cool thing to witness! Below, you will find all the flight information your heart can desire!
