Established in 2017 by Mohit Yadav and Jyotiranjan Harichandan, Bolt.Earth, previously known as REVOS, was created with the mission of enhancing the accessibility of electric vehicles (EVs) to a broader audience. The founders observed a pressing need for affordable EV infrastructure in India and made the proactive decision to develop a scalable infrastructure solution to promote widespread EV adoption.

Before starting Bolt.Earth, Mohit Yadav exhibited a highly calculated approach when launching his venture. Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, he diligently cultivated his expertise while employed at renowned companies such as Oracle and Adobe. Additionally, he conscientiously saved a substantial sum of money once his stock options vested, allowing him to rely on personal funding to sustain his venture, particularly during its initial stages.

In 2015, he reached a point where he believed he was wellprepared to delve into the realm of business. Toward the year's conclusion, he, along with his friend Jyotiranjan Harichandan, stumbled upon a problem during a road trip that appeared to have potential solutions.

At present, Bolt.Earth has successfully developed a range of intelligent operating system devices designed for twowheelers, featuring an instrument cluster positioned between the handlebars of the motorcycle. Moreover, they have established an extensive network of over 30,000 charging points spanning across more than 1,100 cities in India, making it the largest charging network in the country.
