Peter Dale (Tubes) talks through his heart attack symptoms as part of a new NHS England campaign to raise awareness of the symptoms of a heart attack. The early signs of a heart attack can vary; the most common include squeezing across the chest, a feeling of unease and a sense that something just isn’t right. It can be easy to dismiss the early signs of a heart attack as the symptoms don’t always feel severe. It’s never too early to call 999 and describe your symptoms.
If you are a BSL user, deaf, have hearing loss or a speech impairment you can text the emergency services on 999 but you need to register your phone in advance. Find out more at emergencysms.net
