It is time to finally get the Extreme Heavy Winch Bulldozer project underway!

We will be using this 1970's Caterpillar D9G Bulldozer
and a 35 Ton Broughton winch removed from a MOD Aircraft tug used for pulling VC10 Aircraft if they were to go off the runway and onto the grass.


After quite a bit of thought and input from other people we decided the most efficient and effective place to fit the winch would be on the original dozer blade so today's job is to remove it and take it over to the fabrication shop to start modifications.
