Heinkel He162, known as 'Volksjäger' or 'People's Fighter' was one of Germany's last ditch efforts to turn the tide of war. Plenty of videos on YT talk about its development, intended role, manufacturing etc but there's very little about the type's actual combat record. Did it achieve anything in those last days of WWII?
