Helen Reddy born in 1941, was an AustralianAmerican singer, songwriter, and actress. She was best known for her 1972 hit song "I Am Woman," which became an anthem for the feminist movement. Reddy had several other popular songs during the 1970s. She won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "I Am Woman" in 1973.

In addition to her music career, Reddy appeared in several films and television shows, including "Airport 1975," and "Pete's Dragon." She also hosted her own show, "The Helen Reddy Show," on NBC in the 1970s.Helen published one book in 2006. "The Woman I Am"

Reddy retired from performing in 2002 to focus on her family and pursue other interests. She passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 78.
