In this video I explain my experience I had when repairing the aluminum threads on my 2 piece BBS wheels using helicoil and timesert. This is not an instructional video just my experience using these products. My particular application was on aluminum threads with a titanium bolt. Both inserts are claimed to be made out of steel.
