I think the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves of Mt. Yoshino are wonderful.
However, it seems that it used to be famous for the snowy Mt. Yoshino.
This time, I went to see Mt. Yoshino where it snows deeply.

However, due to the warm days, I couldn't see the snow around Shimosenbon.
It was extraordinary and very good to walk while looking at the oldfashioned scenery even without snow.

Mt. Yoshino is the gateway to Omine Okugudo.
We were able to park the tourist parking lot in winter for free.
It starts from Shimosenbon and gradually goes deep into the mountains.
The road is paved because it is also a tourist spot up to the top 1,000.
The paved road is easy to walk, but it puts a strain on your knees and makes you tired.

Passing through historic temples and shrines, Oku Senbon is a mountain road beyond Kinpu Shrine.
The place where Saigyo Hoshi lived in a small hermitage is a point that cannot be overlooked because the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are very beautiful.
Even in the snowy season, the quiet atmosphere was very nice.

Mt. Yoshino is a general term for the area centered on Kinpusenji Temple.
The highest peak is Aonegamine, which is our destination this time.
From OkuSenbon, the Omine Mountains head toward Yamagamigatake.
It gradually became a mountain road, and a stone pillar called the old women's barrier came out.
You cannot see the scenery from the summit of Aonegamine.
This time, I felt a sense of accomplishment that I walked at the north entrance of Omine Okugudo.
However, the back drive that continues from here to Kumano.
It feels like an endless place.
