About Kinu Nishimura:
Kinu Nishimura, a prominent Japanese video game and anime concept artist, gained recognition for her character design and promotional artwork during her tenure at Capcom in the 1990s. Recruited by Akiman while studying at Kyoto University of Art and Design, Nishimura's career at Capcom began with projects like Muscle Bomber and The King of Dragons, where she established herself as a key figure in the Street Fighter series. She served as the main illustrator for Street Fighter II and contributed significantly to Street Fighter III and IV, as well as crossover titles like Capcom vs. SNK.
After leaving Capcom in 2008, Nishimura continued as a freelancer, contributing to projects such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and various anniversary art books for Street Fighter and Darkstalkers. Her influence extends beyond Capcom, with character designs for games like Zero Escape and Culdcept Revolt, and contributions to anime series such as Overlord and Sirius the Jaeger.
