Sabelo Mthembu is an award winning composer, conductor and singer from Johannesburg, South Africa. He is the conductor of a multiaward winning choral/jazz/African choir called Quava Vocal Group.

He has worked with and workshopped many choirs in South Africa and been on adjudication panels at numerous national choral eisteddfods. He is also a jazz singer and has performed internationally in countries such as India and the UK.

Outside music, he enjoys road running and spending time with his family.
